n#9 CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME
Well, when I chose to study film and TV at the University of Chile, I had no idea what I expected. I fell that my whole career was a great disappointment, because they join us or "mix" with journalism; although both careers study communications, the artistic side is very abandoned. It would have been good or less boring subjects of journalism in the first year, but then no more! enough.
Now if I star talking about workload and length of studies, the cinema career should last 3 years, no more... The other subjects are the things of journalists, they have nothing to do with the cinema.
I think that all the careers do it, that of putting subjects that do not correspond to what you study, but that way they charge the very expensive fees that we pay in the any university, anyway, we are in the most neoliberal country in the world, what else can I ask for?.. that's sad... whatever.
The faculty facilities are so poor we don't have enough equipment (cameras, microphones, computers) to supply all the students who enter year after year. (being that every year the enrollment increases and I do not understand why).. the university doesn't support us monetarily to carry out our projects short films and an endless number of aspects in which there are gaps throughout this career...being that we are the second career in the whole university with the most expensive fees after dentistry.
It does not make sense, the fact that we study in such precarious conditions paying a fee of almost 5 million pesos..
anyway... again..
Out of everything I said, I met wonderful people from whom I learned a lot.
I made incredible friendships that I hope will last throughout life, I fell in love, I got a wonderful partner and colleague (which I hope will also last throughout hehe) and I had a good time, out of all the deficiencies..

All were deceived, but it had to be that way. Everything is always how it has to be!
