Michel Gondry is on of my favorite artist, but I will not focus on his films (which I find hallucinating, and he is one of my favorite filmmakers), but on his video clips. I think the best video clips in history are those of Gondry, or at least from this era of rockstars

...And could go on forever, he have too many good videos.
Gondry began directing music videos with his band "Oui Oui" of which he was drummer. It was there that captivated Bjork who asked him to make her "Human Behavior" video where he rose to fame.
Michel Gondry was a pioneer in the technique known as "Bullet time" (Visual technique consisting of an extreme slowing of the action to allow to see movements or events very fast, like the stroke of a bullet, at the same time that the camera moves and modifies the angle of vision) in his video of the Rolling Stones. "Bullet time" later used in the sagas of "Matrix".
Gondry is also engaged in advertising, but the truth in that area I don't know much. Best to devote to movies and music heheheheh
